About the role
Utilizes specialty databases to abstract patient data from electronic medical records for the application of medical registries. Performs primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries while ensuring high levels of abstraction accuracy and ensures alignment with organizational quality standards. Maintains various quality databases including loading import files, generating and working data status reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and timeframes. Identifies and communicates trends in clinical data to leadership. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
