About the role
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being through assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work independently.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding special education.
