Teacher of the Visually Impaired

A K-12 educational institution in Garland, Texas, is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a contract position during the current school year. This full-time, onsite role provides an opportunity to work directly with students and collaborate with educational staff to support visually impaired learners.

• Deliver direct instruction and consultative services to students with visual impairments
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to support students' unique learning requirements

• Experience teaching students with visual impairments within K-12 settings
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and assistive technologies designed for visually impaired students
