Pediatric Nurse (RN)

Deliver compassionate pediatric nursing care in a dynamic home health setting based in Portland, ME. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of children and their families by providing expert nursing services in the comfort of their homes. Ideal candidates bring experience in pediatric nursing and a collaborative spirit focused on quality care and effective communication.

• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 20-25, performing 5-6 visits daily within a pediatric home health care structure.
• Deliver specialized nursing care including IV therapy, tube feeds, wound care with VAC dressings, port access management, ostomy care, chest tubes, and other complex procedures.
• Utilize EPIC and OASIS electronic medical records for accurate documentation and patient care coordination.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to call-back requests 2-4 times per month during early evening hours without overnight call requirements.
• Maintain professional standards of dress (business casual or scrubs), communication, and organizational skills.

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years pediatric nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Familiarity with home health care practices and medical equipment.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and OASIS documentation preferred.
