Director, Internal Communications - Consumer Experience

The Role As the Director of Internal Communications for Ascension’s Consumer Experience strategy, you will be responsible for developing and driving internal communications strategies to improve both our consumer and associate experiences.

• Develop and implement communication strategies to improve both our consumer and associate experiences
• Serve as chief storyteller for our consumer experiences across Ascension
• Engage with senior leaders and teams across each major touchpoint of our consumer experience
• Combine strategic thinking and big-picture perspective with attention to detail, clarity and focus
• Ensure that communications reflect the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension as a ministry of the Catholic Church
• Maintain flexible availability and responsiveness both during and outside of normal work hours as necessary

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Ten years in a communications leadership role with strategic decision-making responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical skills
• Experience planning and managing internal communications programs and campaigns that directly impact consumer and associate experiences
