Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the customer/partner team of Chief Information Officers (CIOs), other C-level executives, and technical and business decision-makers to align customer vision with solutions.
  • Manages risk and Services business goals within large engagements.
  • Responsible for technical quality assurance, identification, and mitigation of technical risk across customer or partner deliverables.
  • Applies technical experience and industry-specific knowledge to develop solutions, based on an analysis of how the proposed approach affects the business objectives of customers and partners.
  • Works to accelerate the value proposition of customer or partner engagements by helping to design, develop, and deploy solutions, based on Microsoft technologies and methodologies.
  • Applies information-compliance and assurance policies to ensure stakeholder confidence.
  • Identifies new processes and innovations to help customers or partners build and accelerate capabilities by using Microsoft technologies.
  • Defines dependencies and risks that go beyond the immediate scope and timeframe for a complex project.
  • Develops contingency plans, risk-mitigation implementation criteria, and alternative strategies to manage short- and long-term risks.
  • Identifies a best practice approach for a project, across a wide scope of technical issues, and develops or reuses intellectual capital with customers, world-wide, and for programs and initiatives across Microsoft.
  • Works with practitioners to apply subject matter expertise and ensures that the solution architecture is both consistent and adoptable.
  • Contributes perspective and expertise to the development of customer solutions that increase the value proposition for Services.
  • Defines the technology strategy for large and complex engagements, so that customers or partners realize the full value of investment.
  • Responsible for implementing the technology strategy.
  • Responsible for the overall efficacy and quality of a project team’s technical delivery within his or her engagements.
  • Defines engagements and opportunities to use Intellectual Property (IP) and address product gaps, while leveraging existing IP and community resources to ensure consistency and improve predictability.
  • Leads the Engineering team and provides accurate time estimates, sets work priorities, and makes project changes and trade-offs necessary for a successful release.
  • Drives new ways of thinking, across the division and subsidiary, to improve quality, engineering productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Trusted advisor and deep knowledge in implementation.
  • Passion for customers, learning, having proven ability to be client-focused, results-focused, proactive, collaborative, and confident under pressure.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 5+ years of Azure Infrastructure experience
  • Must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be Microsoft Azure Administrator certified.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is a plus.
  • Terraform Associate certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Application development and infrastructure will be an added advantage.
  • Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
  • Experience in leading Azure landing zone design and implementation.
  • Knowledge on Networking - VNet, ExpressRoute, vWAN, Ingress/Egress patterns and services, NVAs.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps and YAML configuration of pipeline.
  • Experience on any one of - GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins.
  • Automation experience using ARM templates/Bicep/Terraform/PowerShell/CLI with experience in deployment of infrastructure in module-based approach.
  • Experience in leading large-scale cloud migration project teams using tools like Azure Migrate and implementation of Azure monitoring and security best practices is a plus.
  • Proven hands-on project experience, preferable in large-scale customer environments.
  • Have experience in multiple sectors and industries.
  • Solid experience in leading and conducting customer workshops.
  • Solid customer-facing project experience involving solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, and deployment of complex solutions.
  • Knowledge of Cloud platform design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Passion for mentoring, training peers, and sharing knowledge.
  • Good communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in building autonomous agents using platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Skilled in deploying AI solutions with openAI and semantic kernels on cloud services like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledgeable about fairness, transparency, and bias mitigation in AI systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experienced in leading workshops or training sessions on AI and agentic thinking.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards and data governance policies.
