ML Engineer, Siri AI Quality Engineering

Apple’s Siri AI Quality Engineering team is looking for a hard-working and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our mission of delivering premier AI experiences to millions of users worldwide

• Develop and deploy innovative ML solutions for automated testing, anomaly detection, and performance analysis
• Collaborate with top engineering, design, and product teams to define quality standards, build automated evaluation pipelines, and deliver insights that guide Siri’s development
• Apply expertise in ML, data analysis, and software engineering to drive the strategy and execution of large-scale evaluation efforts for Siri’s most sophisticated features

• 5+ years of proven experience in the relevant space
• 3+ years demonstrated ability in machine learning, including hands-on work with LLMs
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML/NLP libraries
• Experience building or fine-tuning LLMs for software engineering tasks
• Understanding of prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Experience developing LLM-based automated evaluation frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
