About the role
Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust and Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics initiatives to solve business issues across multiple levels in the organization.
- Govern the execution of initiatives while owning clear communication regarding progress, risks, and impact.
- Measure the program's risks and create mitigations for those.
- Identify resourcing, prioritization, discuss scope and timeline depending on blockers, risks and external factors influencing the program.
- Design, implement and improve processes and tools that will help automate and scale the analytics team's work.
- Design metrics and create guidelines to ensure standardization.
- Help develop and refine Business Analytics' strategy on specific programs; translate strategy into tangible goals, initiatives, and metrics.
- Use investigative skills to develop and scale metric proposals for high priority business objectives.
- Develop clear and persuasive narrative and communications to influence executive stakeholder audiences and the organization at large.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis workflows (e.g., data mining, statistical analysis) in roles such as management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, or corporate strategy.
- Experience in project management and process improvement with data analytics.
