About the role
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite role in a high school setting in the Lafayette, CO area. This is a school-based position working with a caseload of 7–10 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will be supported by two paraprofessionals and a team of related service providers. This is a contract position for the 2025–2026 school year, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. We are looking to fill this position immediately, so apply now for early consideration. Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction to high school students with ASD and multiple challenges. Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Collaborate with paras, service providers, parents, and administrators to support student success. Use data-driven instruction and behavior strategies to meet individualized goals. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior. Create and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Special Education (required). Valid Colorado Teaching License in Special Education or proof of licensure application in progress (must provide documentation). Preferred: Several years of experience teaching students with autism and complex needs in a classroom setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
