About the role
Provides the video department with expert knowledge in live video operation, simple to medium complexity system design, installation, and system controls. Collaborates with other departments and partners, with the conceptualizing/utilization of live video systems for a project, event, or entertainment offering. Represents Entertainment Division to internal and external partners including but not limited to Senior Executive Leadership (up to UPR CEO), Events Sales, and national headline acts.
Responsibilities
- Provides the video department with expert knowledge in live video operation, simple to medium complexity system design, installation, and system controls.
- Collaborates with other departments and partners, with the conceptualizing/utilization of live video systems for a project, event, or entertainment offering.
- Functions as point-person for all Universal Orlando Entertainment video show systems as they relate to marquee events, special events, entertainment operations venues and in-park displays.
- Functions as operator of video switcher and equipment for live shows across Universal Orlando property.
Requirements
- Expert level knowledge of live show camera operation, signal flow, installing and operating projectors, LED walls, and video systems, and computer skills including Microsoft office.
- Advanced level knowledge of non-linear editing systems such as Adobe Premier.
- Proficient knowledge of assisting on video production shoots.
- 3-5 years’ experience providing work direction.
