About the role
The Staff Sonographer performs departmental ultrasound examinations, assists the radiologists during procedures, produces high quality images.
Responsibilities
- Performs departmental ultrasound examinations
- Assists the radiologists during procedures
- Produces high quality images
- Serves the following age-specific patient populations: pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
- Registered/registry eligible in ARDMS
- AHA BLS
