Special Ed Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students with special needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with stakeholders

• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional methods
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use assistive technology as needed
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, compassion, and dedication to student success
