Endoscopy Technician

Responsible for performing routine care under the direction of the registered nurse and physician. This position provides for the comfort of the patient and communicates according to protocol. This role adapts procedures to meet the individual needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.
• Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
• Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
• Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
• Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice.

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
