Incoming Quality Assurance Technician

Responsible for sampling and testing ingredients and packaging materials, as to comply with quality procedures and assuring specifications and quality guidelines are met.

• Responsible for sampling and testing ingredients and packaging materials
• Implementing the effectiveness of the quality system
• Monitoring the schedule and releasing ingredients and packaging materials
• Minor trouble shooting of equipment with some assistance from Incoming Chemist III and supervision

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required plus 1 year of college science (e.g., chemistry) with appropriate labs and 1 year of college math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry or calculus) or High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of equivalent plant QA lab experience at an Abbott Nutrition facility
