• Teach 9th-grade General and Environmental Science in alignment with New York State standards
• Serve as homeroom teacher and primary point of contact for a cohort of students
• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with IEPs and varying learning profiles
• Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and progress toward IEP goals
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

• Valid New York State Teaching Certification in either Special Education or General Education
• Experience working with students in special education settings strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a classroom and provide structured, individualized instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Consistent part-time schedule: 30 hours/week
