Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Instructor - Las Vegas, NV in Las Vegas, NV - Soliant
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute individualized education programs for students with hearing impairments
- Design engaging virtual lessons that maximize visual learning opportunities
- Regular communication with students and families
- Conduct virtual meetings with parents, participate in IEP conferences
- Collaborate with audiologists and related service providers
Requirements
- Active Nevada DHH teaching license
- Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students who have hearing impairments
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Knowledge of various communication approaches used with DHH students
