Wireless Sr. Engineer

The Senior Solution Engineer (Aruba Wireless) is a critical technical role responsible for providing expert support in solution design, deployment, and optimization for all changes within the organization's Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) environment.

• Solution Design, Build, and Deployment
• Review and formally approve Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and configuration changes
• Oversee the management and technical leadership of deployment teams
• Design and implement scalable and functional WLAN infrastructure
• Propose and implement improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
• Support the research, planning, and recommendation of necessary Aruba hardware, software, and licensing
• Interface with vendors to develop accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for required hardware and software
• Validate and assist in the development of test cases for Unit, Quality Assurance (QA), and System Integration testing
• Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) and key power users to develop and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Define and monitor measurement criteria and metrics to ensure the system/solution is performing adequately
• Participate in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and the development of detailed project work plans and implementation timelines
• Communicate technical requirements to cross-domain IT stakeholders and translate technical solutions into non-technical terminology for BAs
• Facilitate necessary interactions between MSPs/third-party vendors and internal service delivery teams to support the transition of changes into production

• In-depth understanding of advanced wireless concepts, including RF design, high-density Wi-Fi planning, QoS, and security protocols like 802.1x and Aruba ClearPass
• Solid background in WLAN administration and architecture
• Expertise in core Aruba operating systems and management platforms (e.g., ArubaOS, Aruba Central, ClearPass)
• Strong communication protocols knowledge, including TCP/IP
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate resolution of technical issues through creative solutioning and effective negotiation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to build trust with key stakeholders and gain support for change initiatives
• Demonstrates proactive behavior, self-management techniques, and adaptability
