About the role
Accounts Payable & Payroll, Fiscal Analyst 1 (FA1)
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable Specialist – Review & process vendor and employee payment claims according to DNR Interagency & Cooperator agreements, DES contracts, OFM, Internal DNR policy and procedure and vendor terms.
- Payroll Analysis - Verify and reconcile the semi-monthly payroll information for approximately 250 permanent and part-time employees.
- Credit card administrator - Issue, monitor and maintain all credit card accounts for SPS Region Purchasing & Fuel Cards
- Complete daily deposit of all cash & checks received at Region Office.
Requirements
- One year of fiscal technical experience.
- Experience using Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel in a professional setting.
- Experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable.
- Experience using M365 – Includes Teams, SharePoint, One Drive.
- Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and laws and practices – GAAP.
- Ability to make decisions within delegated authority.
