Responsibilities Oversee payer revenue strategy and contracting for one or more assigned markets or strategic business segments. Professional Reimbursement Strategy - determine short term and long term professional reimbursement strategies at a ministry and specialty level, including coordinated identification of CMS changes. Value Based Care Landscape - identifying and tracking trends in value-based care programs nationally across payer and health systems, including the strategy of adoption and advocacy approach. Oversee the design and implementation of value based care models and plans. Lead or participate in payer negotiation processes and major payer relations discussions particularly related to professional and value-based care. Maintain and expand national knowledge of the payer and competitive environment with focus on professional and value-based trends. Support and integrate business plans and long-term strategies for assigned markets. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. Additional Preferences Additional preferences: 10 years of progressive experience in the health-care field experience, preferred. Expertise of value base care in the development, modeling, and evaluation of VBP models, preferred. Strong organizational skills a must have. Strong interpersonal skills a must have. Responsibilities
