Assistant Attorney General - Spokane Division's Multidivisional Legal Services Section

The selected attorney will provide client advice, litigation support and representation to the Department of Licensing by defending challenges to driver license laws or agency decisions suspending or revoking driver licenses for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or for violation of other driver license laws.

• Provide client advice, litigation support and representation to the Department of Licensing
• Review for legal sufficiency charging documents and investigative records in designated regulatory programs
• Litigate cases before the Office of Administrative Hearings, as well as at superior and appellate courts
• Represent the Employment Security Department by defending challenges to agency orders granting or denying unemployment benefits or Paid Family and Medical Leave benefits
• Provide legal advice and representation to Eastern Washington University on student conduct and related matters

• Graduated from a law school accredited by the ABA or completed the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program
• Licensed to practice law in Washington state
