Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter-Middle Market – Travelers Careers
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business
- Underwrite and skillfully negotiate complex customer accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and external partners
- Identify and capture new business opportunities
- Independently develop and execute sales plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Six to eight years of relevant insurance or underwriting experience
- Deep knowledge of property/casualty insurance products
- Relevant experience interacting with brokers
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or other insurance-related designation
