Procurement & Supply Specialist 2
Responsibilities
- Place orders for supplies and other commissary goods according to department guidelines.
- Receive deliveries and coordinate distribution of items across the Yakima Valley School campus.
- Track orders, invoices, and inventory records to make sure everything is accounted for.
- Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve any issues with orders or deliveries.
- Maintain accurate purchasing documentation in compliance with state procurement rules.
- Keep commissary areas clean, organized, and safely stocked.
- Provide basic customer service to staff and residents in the facility’s commissary.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience as a purchasing professional.
- A bachelor’s degree involving major study in business administration, public administration, procurement, logistics, supply management or a closely allied field.
- An associate’s degree in purchasing management, business administration or closely allied field AND two years of professional purchasing experience.
