Senior Cloud Network Engineer

The Azure Networking Team is growing and we’re looking for a creative and outcome focused engineer with computer networking experience to help operate the world’s best private backbone network.

• Troubleshoot and repair complex live site issues
• Lead customer-facing and critical troubleshooting efforts
• Triage and answer front-line queries from external customers
• Action hardware operational work
• Triage and action operational events
• Drive improvements to alarming and auto-mitigation systems
• Contribute to the development of the knowledge base
• Develop new automation to improve mitigation time

• 8+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• 1+ year experience developing programs using Python or other programming languages
• 2+ years experience with routing protocols
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
