About the role
The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC), AWS for Government, Storage Services team is hiring a cleared Systems Development Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex system operations, not just on a server level but enterprise wide.
- Develop and build exciting new features for these services - further enabling our customers’ mission.
- Work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring)
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Python scripting language
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
