Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE)

A K-12 school in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a full-time Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher for the current school year (CSY). This onsite contract position requires a professional who is dedicated to supporting students with diverse physical education needs through tailored instruction.

• Develop and implement individualized physical education programs for students with disabilities across grades K-12.
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and school personnel.

• Valid Pennsylvania Adaptive Physical Education certification or Pennsylvania Special Education certification along with Physical Education certification.
• Experience working with a K-12 caseload in an educational setting.
• Strong ability to create adaptive physical activity plans that promote inclusion and physical development.
