Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend, including Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Workday APIs, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems using Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality and defect-free solutions.
- Document technical designs, development processes, and support procedures.
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors)
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
- At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
