Registered Nurse ER

Provide expert emergency nursing care in a dynamic clinical setting serving a wide range of patients, from clinic cases to Level I traumas.

• Deliver nursing care consistent with ANA Scope and Standards using assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social patient and family needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor effectiveness and side effects.
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues.
• Meet or exceed organizational competency standards relevant to nursing leadership and practice.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience (trauma levels I, II, or III preferred).
• Current RN license in New Mexico or active Compact License.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA-only certifications).
• Completion of orientation and competency validations as per organizational policies.
