About the role
In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google’s diverse product ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Build high-value use cases, rapid prototypes, and troubleshoot technical issues related to model performance and infrastructure, leveraging the latest Gemini Model capabilities.
- Contribute to the evolution of Gemini Models by shaping future capabilities and defining the roadmap for developer tools.
- Partner with Google DeepMind Engineering and Product Management teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that measurably impact Generative AI model quality and performance across Google’s product offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- 6 years of experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal or external partners or customers.
