About the role

Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department -- cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support to data center services and operations teams
  • Define Mechanical system design requirements for multiple data center projects
  • Develop, implement, and manage the mechanical designs at the site level
  • Collaborate effectively with the Engineer of Record to respond to site-specific engineering Requests for Information
  • Work closely with the core engineering team to provide site-specific requirements during the development of the Basis of Design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments
  • 12 years of experience in design, construction and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems
  • Experience in mechanical infrastructure
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time as required
