Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Joining this group means you'll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions.

• Design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC)
• Ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle tasks
• Craft and build technology that fuels Apple's devices
• Deploy, operate, and enhance Kubernetes infrastructure
• Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure container orchestration platforms
• Build and maintain robust cluster environments
• Provide architectural guidance and expertise in cluster management, security hardening, and performance optimization

• Kubernetes architecture, administration, and security
• Strong Linux system administration and container technologies experience
• Experience with Kubernetes package management and templating tools
• Experience developing custom Kubernetes operators and controllers
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and configuration management
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and GitOps workflows
• Experience with monitoring solutions and performance tuning
