Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN

Under supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. The role involves independently performing Radiographic Imaging procedures, handling, preparing, calculating dosage, and administering radionuclides and interventional medications under the direction of an authorized user such as a radiologist or cardiologist.

• Under supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans.
• Maintains room readiness by keeping the room neat, supplies well stocked, and equipment prepared for the next patient, initiating and documenting work order requests for any malfunctioning equipment.

• Academic and Clinical Training in Nuclear Medicine
• ARRT (NM) or CNMT
• BLS
