Data Center Area Security Manager II, Compliance, Safety and Risk Management

Security is at the core of Google's design and development process: it is built into the DNA of our products. The Data Center Area Security Manager will collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future.

• Oversee the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for a cross-functional technical infrastructure location.
• Serve as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions.
• Lead security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Design cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of IT structures.

• 10 years of experience developing and deploying processes to mitigate risk, and leading operational or project based work and tasks.
• 10 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
• 10 years of experience in a people management, supervision, or team leadership role, and co-ordinating/managing resources for data center locations.
