CVOR Nurse

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. This role focuses on delivering specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care throughout surgical interventions.

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular OR environment, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are ready and sterile
• Provide direct nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries, monitoring patient status and responding to changes promptly
• Support surgeons and the surgical team with technical and clinical assistance
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records throughout the perioperative period
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and hospital policies

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Proven experience in CVOR nursing with strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced surgical environments
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
