Sr. Data Scientist, Controlled Experimentation

The Sr. Data Scientist, Controlled Experimentation will focus on experimentation and exploratory analysis, specifically in the areas of conversion optimization and feature usage behavior

• Work on initiatives to improve user experience and drive growth
• Partner closely with engineering, product and machine learning teams
• Improve quality of experimentation, hypothesis generation, statistical techniques, rare event detection and underlying infrastructure
• Hyper parameter optimization, exploratory and ad-hoc analysis to improve customer experience
• Cut through the noise in data, identify key findings and distill recommendations for engineering, product and business owners

• At least 5 years of industry experience managing Controlled Experimentation
• At least 3 years of industry experience with experiment design and hypothesis testing
• Applied Statistics with Experimentation Optimization techniques
• Variance Reduction and Rare Event detection
• Data mining skills with SQL, Scala, and PySpark
• Python or R
