About the role
We’re looking for a Relationship Associate to join our world-class team Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is part of Citi, a leading global financial services company, which has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in over 160 countries and jurisdictions
Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with client network and operational teams
- Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements
- Helps clients to access Citi’s global network
- Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries
- Coordinates credit requests and approvals from Citi’s global network
- Engages with product partners and Citi’s global network to identify revenue opportunities
- Ensures periodic support discussions are held with clients and are correctly documented
- Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies
- Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current
- Assists in implementation of cash transactions for Banker
- Proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients
- Delivers a simple, secure, and seamless client experience
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
- Demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
- Driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
- Escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a financial services environment
- Demonstrated expertise in Cash Management and Treasury products
- Strong experience in Pipeline and Relationship Management
- Proficiency with Salesforce and CRM (Deal Entry System)
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong problem recognition and resolution capabilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Highly effective communication skills, adaptable to various audiences
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Proactive approach to strengthening business relationships
- Focused on delivering a simple, secure, and seamless client experience
