Special Ed Teacher

A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available for a full-time contract position in Alexandria, LA. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs through tailored instructional strategies and collaboration with educators and specialists to enhance student success.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Utilize specialized teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to promote inclusive education.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state regulations.

• Certification or licensure in Special Education.
• Experience working with students in grades K-12.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and accessible lesson plans.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
