About the role
As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination.
Responsibilities
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider
- Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem
- Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration
- May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKG’s
Requirements
- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or
- Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or
- Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or
- National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or
- National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or
- Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or
- Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
