About the role
Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating designated nursing service functions and activities for assigned patient care programs/units to ensure delivery of optimal quality of care and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices and services by analyzing internal and external data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborates with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, medical staff, and executive officers to develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services.
- Assesses performance based on professional standards, studies, regulations, and organizational criteria to identify strengths and areas for development.
- Maintains responsibility for all assigned departments on a 24/7 basis, unless otherwise approved.
- Integrates evidence-based knowledge to identify best practices in nursing care delivery.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs department functions to ensure services meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Master's of Nursing Required
- 0 Work Experience Required
- Strong detail orientation required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
