Bingham Creek Technician - Scientific Technician 2

• Operate and maintain adult salmon trap
• Monitor traps daily, accurately enumerate and sub-sample adult fish
• Collect and record biological and environmental data
• Apply fish marking and tagging techniques
• Enter, verify, and error-check data
• Maintain and organize sampling equipment, trapping gear, and data records
• Provide support to hatchery staff
• Drive agency vehicles
• Conduct repairs to traps and facility infrastructure
• Build equipment or structures
• Perform grounds maintenance

• Graduation from high school or GED, including one year of high school science
• Two (2) years of experience as a Scientific Technician 1
• Graduation from high school or GED, including one year of high school science
• Two (2) years of laboratory or field experience as an assistant to a biologist, chemist, or zoologist
