About the role
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a dynamic K-12 school environment located in Annapolis, MD.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Document and track student progress through detailed reporting and data collection.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with developing effective interventions.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in K-12 settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed records efficiently.
