Responsibilities

  • Fiscal Accounting & Analysis: Accounts Payable, Journal Voucher, Accounts Receivable, Enters Monthly Equipment Reports (MERs), Processes Payroll and Benefits.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of fiscal technical experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices, including payroll and/or accounts payable.
  • Experience using professional automated accounting programs.
  • Proficiency using a ten-key calculator.
  • Experience interpreting and explaining WAC, Collective Bargaining Agreements, agency policy and procedures, and other applicable regulations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to present and communicate technical information.
  • Adept at prioritizing, multitasking, and meeting firm deadlines.
  • Perform detail-oriented work with high accuracy.

  • Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and public records retention and requests are followed.
