Echo Tech Registered Lead

Responsible for providing specialized cardiovascular care while ensuring maximum patient safety and comfort. This position performs and reviews baseline patient assessments and evaluates patient responses to diagnostic cardiac procedures. Additionally, this role operates and maintains all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment as specified by the manufacturer. In addition, this position ensures the proper functioning of equipment used in cardiovascular procedures. This role collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. This position contributes to the overall effectiveness of cardiovascular services through diligent performance of assigned duties.

• Responsible for providing specialized cardiovascular care while ensuring maximum patient safety and comfort.
• Conducts specialized testing using computer-assisted devices, including TEE, Stress Echo, Pharmacological Stress Echo, EKGs, Treadmills, and Holter monitors.
• Maintains and reviews equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration of machines.
• Participates in CQI, in-services, ongoing education, and attends at least 80% of staff meetings to maintain high skill levels.

• High School Grad or Equiv
• 2 Work Experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
