About the role
The Department of Revenue's Research and Fiscal Analysis (RFA) Division is excited to announce an incredible opportunity as a Special Taxes Coordinator (Tax Policy Specialist 4 or TPS4)
Responsibilities
- Conduct tax and economic impact studies of major importance for the agency and other state agencies
- Prepare and/or review fiscal notes and fiscal estimates for the Governor, the Legislature, and agency Executive staff
- Provide fiscal, quantitative, and economic information, and formulate policy recommendations for the efficient administration of taxes and sound tax policy
Requirements
- Proven ability as a project manager or team leader
- Experience with and understanding of research and analysis
- Ability to program at an advanced level using SAS or a similar statistical analysis programming tool
