Special Ed Teacher

Deliver engaging instruction tailored to special education students in Employability Classes for students in grades 9 through 12, providing a dynamic opportunity to support students' academic and social success.

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to special education students in Employability Classes
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet individual student needs
• Supervise students to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Accurately enter grades and maintain detailed student records
• Maintain compliance with special education regulations by writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting IEP meetings
• Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to enhance student outcomes

• SC Educator Certification with a Multi-categorical or Intellectual Disabilities (ID) endorsement or specialty
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
