About the role

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of all phases of heating, ventilation, and cooling
  • Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC related duties
  • Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
  • Repair heat pumps and air conditioning systems
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of hot water boiler systems
  • Perform emergency, routine, and safety work orders assigned related to HVAC

Requirements

  • Journey level standing as a refrigeration mechanic or steamfitter as attested by completion of a recognized apprenticeship in refrigeration or steamfitter trades
  • Full journey level status in Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union
  • Five years of experience in refrigeration or steamfitter trades
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
