About the role
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of all phases of heating, ventilation, and cooling
- Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC related duties
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
- Repair heat pumps and air conditioning systems
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of hot water boiler systems
- Perform emergency, routine, and safety work orders assigned related to HVAC
Requirements
- Journey level standing as a refrigeration mechanic or steamfitter as attested by completion of a recognized apprenticeship in refrigeration or steamfitter trades
- Full journey level status in Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union
- Five years of experience in refrigeration or steamfitter trades
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
