Third Party Risk Manager – Travelers Careers
Responsibilities
- Responsible for embedding Third-Party Risk Management policies and procedures into the business and support embedding of Operational Resilience (and DORA) policies
- Review and update policy and procedure documents.
- Work in partnership with relevant departments (e.g. IT, Procurement, Business Continuity, Underwriting, Delegated Authority, Claims) to develop and ensure a consistent approach is applied in line with policy.
- Work closely with business owners to ensure completion of due diligence and risk assessment of third-party vendors and partners.
- Work closely with business owners to ensure effective and robust resilience and third-party risk management controls are in place and translate performance measures such as KPIs and SLAs into meaning reporting
- Lead the collation of and assessing of the performance of vendors and challenging performance metrics
- Liaise with Legal team to ensure contract updates have been executed
- Own maintenance of third-party register to meet UK, Ireland and DORA requirements and liaising with stakeholders to remediate any incomplete information
- Work with the business to ensure DORA is appropriately embedded in TPRM arrangements
- Own maintenance of exit plans, including working with business owners to complete and document
- Act as key point of contact for Business Owners seeking support on third-party risk activities
- Stay abreast of current and emerging regulations affecting third-party risk management and operational resilience.
- Work with Operational Resilience Lead to ensure alignment of key activities, such as scenario testing, accuracy of Important Business Service (IBS) mapping and oversight of third parties supporting IBS.
- Develop and deliver and required training to the business
