Catering Server/Bartender

Join the exceptional Special Events team at Universal Studios Hollywood as a Catering Server/Bartender, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable experiences. In this fast-paced and guest-focused role, you’ll support events by setting up dining areas, including linens, china, glassware, and flatware, and by serving and clearing food and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail. As a Bartender, you’ll also responsibly serve alcohol in adherence to company standards.

• Participate in room set up (ie. Setting buffets, linens, china, glassware, chaffing dishes, and other catering vehicles.)/breakdown.
• Serve and clear food and beverages quietly, professionally, and quickly using proper catering techniques.
• Set up and serve bar banquet packages
• Reports to Banquet Captain and Catering Manager for miscellaneous tasks.
• Promotes and provides extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner.
• Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Minimum of 3 Years Food and Beverage Experience
