School Registered Nurse | Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are seeking a skilled nursing professional with a strong background in school nursing to support middle school students in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position covers the current school year and will allow you to make a big impact on the health and well-being of our students during a critical stage of their development.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to middle school students, including managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization reviews in compliance with school policies
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Educate students, staff, and families on health promotion and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records following regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed
• Participate in school health committees and contribute to policy development

• Current RN licensure with a valid school nursing certification or relevant experience in school health settings
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment
• Knowledge of student health issues, medication administration, and emergency care procedures
