The Manager HR Tech invests in the future of Southwest’s People by supporting the People Systems Team and serves as a liaison between our Technology and Business partners.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with key Stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
- Identify impediments and potential solutions; challenge the status quo to improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity
- Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables
- Monitor the performance of project Team Members to provide performance feedback
- Partner with Senior Leaders, Business Partners, and vendors to provide ongoing direction and alignment to drive projects to completion
- Work together with Senior Stakeholders and Customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
- May perform other job duties as required by Employee's Leaders
Requirements
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer Satisfaction
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
- Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among unrelated events)
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
