About the role

Responsible for providing direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment. This position implements and monitors patient care plans and serves as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. This role also administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors patient conditions, and provides patient education and support.

Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides patient education and support. Qualifications The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed : Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred One or more years of ER Nursing Work Experience Required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required Registered Nurse (RN) credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) for specific specialty areas Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) for specific specialty areas Preferred

Requirements

  • One or more years of ER Nursing Work Experience Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required
